Bio:
Bio: I'm Liz and I have been a Research Associate at the RRTC for 15 years. Before working at Virginia Commonwealth University, I worked for a research and development center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I find it interesting to develop evaluation strategies which enable individuals to talk about their experiences in a particular service or educational program to learn what worked well and where improvements are needed.I have been involved in a number of evaluation studies in the field of special education, specifically focusing on transition services for youth with disabilities. I am also very interested in working with students with disabilities attending postsecondary education programs. I have worked with students and instructors in vocational technical schools and am currently coordinating a project working directly with students with disabilities attending Virginia Commonwealth University. The project is using strategies to assist students to concentrate on another important transition in their lives - graduating from college and entering the work force.
