Roberta Martin
Bio:
Ms. Martin began work at the RRTC as an Office Services Specialist in March 1996. Since January 1999 she has broadened her scope becoming Dissemination Specialist for the Center. She maintains a mailing list of over 21,000 disability related agencies and professionals in the fields of supported employment. She distributes information regarding products, workshops, trainings, satellite telecasts, newsletters and Internet courses. As dissemination specialist, Roberta oversees product supply and order processing, customer accounts, and assists customers with questions on products, orders, trainings and billing. Ms. Martin coordinates the registration of downlink sites for the Set Net telecasts.
Assisting the Editor of the Journal of Vocational Rehabilitation, she is responsible for coordinating the publication of four issues a year. This includes all aspects of correspondence, overseeing the review process, formatting documents to APA guidelines, general editing and proofreading of journal articles and in-house publications and flyers, and recordkeeping regarding the publication of the journal. She assists guest editors, disseminates information on the JVR, and serves as liaison to the publisher. She also assists with voice interpreting for an RRTC staff member on conference calls, and at trainings and workshops.
