Julie Schall

Bio:

Hi, my name is Julie Schall and I'm a Data Manager for the Social Security Administration funded State Partnership Initiative Project here at the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (the Center). I began this position in May 2000, and have learned so much since then!

Before I began working at the Center, I did not have much experience in working with people with disabilities, or even knowing what issues they face in being a part of the working world. The experience I have had is with the Vermont Arts Council. Since the Council received federal monies, it assisted the arts organizations it funded in evaluating the accessibility of their current programs and buildings for people with disabilities. This too was a new experience for me and am happy to be building upon my knowledge here at the Center.

I am also training to become a medical massage therapist to one day work with people with disabilities, illnesses and/or injuries.
