Holly Tate

Bio:

Ms. Tate currently serves as an employment specialist within the employment services division of VCU’s Center for Rehabilitation, Research, and Training.  She primarily works with individuals with significant disabilities from the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services and the McGuire Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.  In 2008, she earned ACRE-certification through the supported employment web-based certificate series.  In addition, she has given presentations to parent groups related to integrated employment options.

Ms. Tate holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Spanish and Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Prior to this position, she worked as a substitute teacher in the field of special education and is a regular volunteer with the Virginia Special Olympics.
