Question: Your business is a real inspiration! Joe has great support in this business. I'm wondering if you have ideas for those who don't have such strong family support where they might seek (or I could direct them to) support systems? Admin says (18:58): If he/she has friends that might be interested in getting involved. Also there are people in retirement communities where people are interested in looking for things to do. Also, contact your local SCORE organization and try universities with business programs that require students to do internships. Security because they are going to ask you what is your business plan. It adds credibility that you know what the process is. BUT first find out what your state VR program will support. You can find that in the State VR manual. Question: I am starting a publishing business by the way. Admin says (19:10): Check into your state WIPA (this used to be Benefits Specialists). They will know the state regulations about your benefits and the taxes you owe. Question: So many lists - goals worksheets - business plan drafts...just want to get started already and quit planning... lol Admin says (19:13): Good luck with your new business! Also go to www.FirstSteps.org to find out where the Fast Trak class is taught in your area.
