Lessons in return to work following TBI: Case studies in long-term job retention

This paper presents two case studies of individuals who achieved long-term job retention following TBI. Factors which contributed to their success included:

  1. allowing multiple employment opportunities,
  2. attention to problems and issues outside the workplace and
  3. matching individuals' skills and interests to jobs in flexible and supportive work settings.
