The Resume Database is for persons with disabilities looking for employment, who hold at least a two-year college degree. It offers a FREE service that will register your resume on an Internet database. Your skills and qualifications will be verified and your resume made available to NBDC member corporations. These Fortune 1000 companies have offices located in your neighborhood. 70% of NBDC companies have expressed a high interest in this service. You benefit directly by having your resume seen more often by companies who have demonstrated a commitment to the hiring, training, retaining and promoting of qualified workers with disabilities.
The NBDC reserves the right to verify the last place of employment as well as the educational background of each person who registers their resume. This verification is to ensure that the information submitted is accurate. No assessment of performance is made. NBDC information is kept highly secure, only authorized job recruiters from NBDC companies looking to hire can access any information.
No information about your disability need be disclosed. Employers look only at your qualifications. Employers will contact you directly. NBDC representatives will not contact you regarding an employment opportunity.
You may register online or download a registration form to register by mail. Click on "Job Seekers" then click on "Post Resume." You will then be prompted to enter your email and password. Enter your complete email address and create a password of your choice. Be sure to keep this information secure. You will need it to update your information.
