And in the end, it’s about leadership.  Fullon talks about that so many of the leaders who have 
accomplished great things, exhibited a personal humility about their work. That iron will, that 
fire in their bellies, that willingness to take risks, long-term commitment through thick and thin, 
those are the characteristics of true leadership.  He also talks about, first who and then what in 
terms of the process of change, people on board services, confronting the brutal facts of 
believing that you can and will prevail.  He talks about the hedgehogs concept with these three 
components, or three essential ingredients:  What are you passionate about?  What can you be 
best at? What drives your economic engine?  Again, speaking primarily to those who are in key 
leadership roles.
