Dr. Rochelle Habeck will discuss a study that is designed to explore in-depth organizational factors and practices that are successfully retaining employees with disabilities. She will be joined by Mr. Larry Hickey, a participating corporate partner. Mr. Hickey is the Assistant Director of HR and Manager of Employee Support Services at the University of CA, San Francisco. Together they will provide information on the current state of knowledge on how employer organizations, individuals with disabilities, and their workplace partners successfully resolve disability-related challenges to job retention, what motivates them to do so, and the barriers that threaten their continuance.
