What is an EN?
Manpower Inc. has become one of the
first corporations to be officially recognized as an Employment Network
(EN). What is an EN? A key component of President Bush's New
Freedom Innovative was the Ticket to Work and Work Incentive Improvement
Act of 1999. The goal of this program is to assist Social Security
Administration beneficiaries with disabilities to achieve steady
long-term employment by providing them with greater choice and
opportunities to go to work.
While becoming an EN is new, assisting
people with disabilities to obtain and maintain employment is not new.
In fact, Manpower has been connecting people with disabilities with
