as well as discuss the myths and misconceptions about the supplemental
staffing industry.

Original Date: September 11, 2003
Webcast live from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Research that builds the business case for hiring people with
disabilities is often difficult to access and hard to understand. Making
the Case: The Nuts and Bolts of Hiring People with Disabilities responds
to the questions employers have once they make the decision to recruit,
hire, and retain workers with disabilities. Business representatives
from a large regional children's medical center and a rural, mid-sized
electronics manufacturing business discuss their experiences in
successfully recruiting workers from the disability community. Also as
part of the panel, a chamber representative addresses how chambers
can help their business members connect with community resources, and a
community-based service provider will discuss the power of partnerships
among community stakeholders that are working to solve the problem of
staffing shortages.
